SCIENCE POLICY
Whiskey is for drinkin', and water is for fightin'.
Water is life. It is our most basic, necessary, and often sought-after societal commodity. Local, state, and federal agencies are charged with the responsibility of ensuring its distribution and cleanliness to often burgeoning populations, and do so with varying success. It is the job of the hydrologic research community to provide the information and expertise necessary for policymakers to fulfill this obligation.
